HATSE 2024 invites high-quality submissions from students in the Spring 2024 CS6704 course. Contributions should describe innovative and significant original research.
Authors' submissions must conform to the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) formatting guidelines (see the MS Word, LaTex, and Overleaf templates). At the time of submission, the paper should not exceed 10 pages, not including references and appendices. Please check your document for typos and spelling or grammar errors.
Papers must be submitted electronically through the HATSE 2024 HotCRP submission site: https://vt-hatse24.hotcrp.com/. Each submission will be reviewed by at least two members of the program committee. The review process will provide initial insight on if the paper can be accepted, rejected, or major revisions are required. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of originality, importance of contribution, soundness, evaluation, quality of writing presentation, and appropriate comparison to related work and the overall course theme.
The HATSE 2024 Research Papers Track will employ a single-anonymous review process, where external reviewers know the identity of the authors, but the authors do not know the identity of the reviewers. Upon receiving the initial feedback, authors will have one week to apply updates for the camera-ready version of the paper.
Submissions to the conference will be as follows:
